Description of what happened:
Schwinn Turismo Swivel Double Jogger I bought this double JOGGER in April of this year, 2013. So less than 4 months ago. We went for a few walks and to a few of our nephew and nieces sporting events with it. It worked just fine. ON July 9, 2013 we took the double jogger and my 2 daughters ages 5 months and my 2 1/2 year old to Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek MI. We had been walking a paved, cement trail to and from the different parks in the zoo, we were going down a hilly section of the park- nothing crazy. The front wheel all of a sudden buckled and threw the stoller forward over the top of my children and me. By the GRACE of GOD my 2 yr old only had SEVERE road rash on her arms, legs and face along with a bruised eye and other bruises that showed up later- my 5 month old however split her forehead OPEN!! The stroller was not repairable and did not work, so here I am with my two wounded children and no way to take them to saftey quickly, thank God after a few minutes a passerbyer came up and got help for me and my girls. We were rushed to the hospital where my 5 month old had to have x-rays and stiches/glue suchers. I had to watch her for 3 days waking her up every hour and a half to make sure she hadn’t fallen into a COMA!!!!! This is horrific- it could kill the next child!!! I am so thankful that the x-rays came back showing that her scull wasn’t cracked and that there was no visible hemmoraghing!!!! This is totally unacceptable
