13 year-old male accidently swallowed 2 buckeyball magnets that had been given to him by a friend. Patient presented to outside emergency room where abdominal x-ray confirmed presence of magnets in the stomach. Transferred to Seattle Childrens emergency room, repeat imaging before endoscopy re-confirmed presence of magnets in the stomach. Patient underwent upper endoscopy by GI Fellow and Attending with successful removal of buckeyballs from the stomach.
