Description of what happened:
I was collapsing the stroller to put it in my car and as I was pushing the button and pulling up on strap the tip of my pinky finger on my right hand got caught/pinched in the hinge. The skin lateral to my finger nail was cut/torn from my nail and was gushing blood and numb. I went to Urgent Care and they took an X-ray, my finger was not broken. They said it was a bone bruise and stitches were an option since the wound was so deep. I was given the choice to have stitches or take care of the wound by keeping it bandaged and cleaned. I was given a splint to wear and instructions how to care for the wound. The tip of my finger is still numb and feeling has not come back even though the wound is now healed.
