Driving is the controlled operation and movement of a vehicle, such as a car, carriage, truck, or bus. With accidents involving motor vehicles, the person maneuvering the vehicle is considered the driver. Most accident reports specify the driver of the vehicle, when known, in order to help determine fault and liability.
